I don't know how to fix it, I've just never seen it happen. Maybe it's because I don't fly many airplanes with Strombergs. The Cub I had for several years had one, but it didn't leak. The needle had a rubber tip, and I thought they all had one. Is there some replacement tip that's all metal or something?
