Hi Jim, I just recently did the conversion on my coupe SN 1180.  When I
ordered
the kit I was expecting to receive a skin that covered the entire piece
that was
removed. Not so.  The stainless covered only between the firewall and the
first
bulkhead.  I fabricated the balance out of .025" (the original is .020")
and my
AME and I installed it.  I did however find upon removing the skin that
both of
the reinforcing brackets that hold the rear of the fuselage tank in place
were
broken.
