Rural coworking and non-desk jobs? I have members who sell Avon and Mary
Kay. Pampered Chef and Dove Chocolate dealers hang out here. I have others
who work with the health industry program called It Works! They use the
space to hold shows and come to referral group meetings. It's an interesting
mix. Definitely not high tech, but in a small community (about 10,000), it's
a way to get out of the home space and into public without having to rent
meeting/show space, etc. They get the wifi and all the bells and whistles.

Our space is really a hybrid -- we have admin support, and training
programs. We open our rooms on the weekend to these homebased entrepreneurs
who don't have a location for people to walk in and be a part of their
business. It's a retail store without the expense of renting a storefront.
While we're new to the community, it looks like this is a project that
people are interested in using. I'll keep you posted.
