Here's an alpha release package for testing purposes:

http://downloads.sourceforge.net/cream/cream-0.40alpha_2007-12-05.zip?use_mirror=osdn

It includes a few bug fixes not yet reflected in CVS:

1. Missed the change in the typing tutor add-on.

2. Several functions use a Ctrl+B embedded into a string, which is not
   permissible with the re-map:

   * The Insert key mapping
   * Add-on mapping function
   * Part of the Home key mapping
   * Part of the PageUp key mapping
   * A command in a template function

   In quick testing thus far, simply replacing these with Ctrl-O seems
   to fix it, but more testing is necessary.

Please let me know of any instabilities you find.
