I know we've discussed this to some extent before, but I wanted to ask
a specific question (or make a specific point?)
It has long been my contention that anyone who speaks aloud a "Word
from God" using King James style language (Thee, thou, shalt, etc) is
not only full of complete BS, but also not smart enough to figure out
that Jesus himself never spoke that way. I am conceding that God has
the power to vocalize through any vessel that he chooses - animal,
vegetable, or mineral, I just don't believe he's going to make a
concerted effort to "sayeth" anything to anybody.
I have considered that God may merely plant thoughts or concepts
into the mind of a person if he wishes them to speak it aloud and, if
they are aware the "message" was given by God, they may speak it
through a mental filter of their impression of God. I just think that
if I were God, I would be very tired of people precursoring anything
and everything I wished to convey with "Thus sayeth the Lord..." and
take specific steps to correct the problem.
  Thoughts?
