Hi  everyone, NZTE would like to support a group of NZ companies to attend the International ICT Expo http://www.ictexpo.com   (Hong Kong April 14-17, 2005) forming an NZ Pavilion at the event  -  this support would include assistance with airfares and daily allowance as well as PR/networking opportunities. If you're interested and/or are currently doing business in HK and the surrounding regions(i.e. China, Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea, Japan etc.), I would recommend you consider this event. In brief, the HK ICT Expo is a trade focused ICT event for industry players to find business partners and expand their business in primarily the Asian region. The event will be focused on representing the latest business/software applications such as Mobile & Wireless, E-Logistics, E-Learning and Enterprise Solutions. The event is fully internationalised, bringing delegations from all over the world including US, Canada, Israel, Finland, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Ireland, Korea, Japan and Chinese mainland. The potential audience are likely to be ICT companies looking for partnership opportunities; Corporate users looking for solution providers; Manufacturers looking for applications to be bundled in hardware / devices (e.g. mobile handset manufacturers looking for mobile applications). More than 100 software companies from China will be coming to exhibit at this event and they will be looking for partnership opportunities with overseas companies. It is estimated that around 53% of visitors for ICT Expo will come from Hong Kong, 33% from overseas and 14% from Chinese mainland.
