You're using Trebuchet MS, which tends to look a little bold even in normal
weight.

The font looks correct to me in IE7 and FF3 on a Windows machine at 120 DPI
with ClearType enabled.

If I go into Firebug and change the font-weight to bold, I do see a bolder
font as expected.

How about posting a screenshot or two if the font you're getting that
doesn't look right, and I can compare it with what I'm seeing?
