There is no gap (white space) on the entire right side of the center panel with font-scaling in Mac OS 10.4.11 in Firefox/3.0.4. There is a gap (white space) on the entire right side of the center panel with font-scaling in XP Firefox/3.0.3. The below deals only with the gap you are getting with IE/7 and page zoom, and nothing at all to do with what yo are seeing in XP Firefox/3.0.3.
