Yeah, people with monitors wider than 1024 shouldn't be maximizing their browsers. Kidding :) Then one should add a max-width of around 40em. Or one can just remove the max-width and give div#headingsanddescription a width of 40em. And before you say it; No, I have no consideration for those using IE6 which doesn't support max-width and min-width.
