There is a technological barrier for IE6 on XP users; IE9 does run on Windows Vista and Windows 7 only. Ending support for IE6 does not help reducing engineering costs if the market share of IE7 is still high. Therefore, support should be graded, and user education is advisable. http://devblog.xing.com/qa/do-web-applications-need-to-provide-the-same-features-in-every-browser/ The other day, I reviewed an app that used <!--[if IE]>dosomething<![endif]--> Maybe this should be considered as obsolete now. regards, Ingo Chao ______________________________________________________________________ css-discuss [[email protected]] http://www.css-discuss.org/mailman/listinfo/css-d List wiki/FAQ -- http://css-discuss.incutio.com/ List policies -- http://css-discuss.org/policies.html Supported by evolt.org -- http://www.evolt.org/help_support_evolt/
