Your better off providing smaller images on the web with links to view larger ones if they want/need to.

Well considering some of my target audiences may have 4K resolutions, my page will hit 4K approx.

I hope this isn't going to be a dumb question, how do you find your page width, is it based on the MQ min-width ?

So if your max page width is 960 and your container is 650 then:

650/960=.677 (x100) so 67.7%
