Funding Year 2001 (July 1, 2001 - June 30, 2002): For those libraries that received the E-Rate discount for Funding Year 2001, it is time to file for the reimbursement using a BEAR Form. For libraries that are NOT receiving the E-Rate discount directly on their phone bill, it is necessary to pay for the at 100% and then file a BEAR Form to receive the discount through a reimbursement. The deadline for filing for the reimbursement is 120 days after the END DATE of the service. For Funding Year 2001, the service end date was June 30, 2002. Therefore, you have until October 28, 2002 to file for your reimbursement. Recommendation: I typically recommend that libraries file two BEAR Forms per Funding Year. I recommend filing in January/February for reimbursement of money spent on services for July 1st - December 31st. I then recommend filing another BEAR form in July/August for reimbursement of money spent on services for January 1st - June 30th. However, you may file any number of BEAR forms (monthly, annually, quarterly, etc.) File now for reimbursement of money spent for Funding Year 2001. *********************** Marilyn Johnson Library Technology Consultant Texas State Library & Archives Commission 512 463-6624 [EMAIL PROTECTED] --------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, send to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Include in body: unsubscribe ctls-l For information on CTLS-L please visit: http://www.ctls.net/document/ctls-l.htm
