Jacques Vallee has touched on this many times in his books, most notable
"Messengers of Deception", and "Revelations"...I think he may have been
the first "official" UFO investigator to write publicly about the
correlation between the UFO phenomenon and traditional 'fairy tales' and
folk tales, and legends/myths of the supernatural and occult....

Fairy tales have been 'dumbed down' in the past 150 or so years, if you
can get your hands on versions which are closer to the ancient tales, you
find stories that are quite frightening, even terrifying, definitely not
'just for children'...

Personally, I find a strong correlation between the UFO abduction
phenomenom, and traditional tales/legends regarding incubi/succubi and
with vampires...Bram Stoker's description of how Dracula looked sounds
very much like a 'Grey'... ;-)
