WE are trying very hard to make a difference...How dare you impugn us with such a ridiculous accusation
witness the following email to Air America... Which I JUST sent....
Forward: I have a suggestion...and isn't this station about input from those who haven't had a voice? WE need one!
As an adamant supporter of this station from the gitgo, I think you all need to have a segment on the environment. We can't ignore this aspect of the Liberal/Progressive "agenda". We need either an hour a week, or really an hour a day. Preferably with a person who can field questions regarding this, ie, with a call in aspect/interview aspect. We have to have this, it's absolutely critical. With global warming, with deforestation, with the various issues that face us that are destroying our world, a LIBERAL radio station can't exist without this as part of it's regular programming.
Maybe you could recruit Michio Kaku, he's already a vibrant environmentalist and has a radio show, and he might be willing to do a show on it, and he has experience on the environment as well as being a brilliant theoretical physicist. Or maybe the guy who started Organic Gardening (his name escapes me at the moment), he does a show as well.
I used to work for the Environmental Defense Fund, I could probably come up with a few other people as suggestions. Being on the West Coast, I can't really attend to it, but I do live in the Bay Area, so I could probably find SOMEONE.... Come on, ya'll, this is really important.
Woody Harrelson? Would he be enough of a celebrity? Or maybe Erin Brokovich?
And you all need to archive your shows on line.
