What is there to discuss? Did you read the information on the Apollonius site
or Archaya site? Or did you dismiss them out of hand as drivel, preferring not
to test your faith with Church-proscribed thoughts.
You're a Christian, yes? You believe that your salvation depends on what I
believe to be the false deification of a teacher/prophet whose original message
was likely distorted by worldly princes and priests for their own purposes. All
the sources you may quote to "prove" a historical Jesus existed will probably
not prove his deity.
Most Christians I know don't want to hear how the tenets of their religion came
about a few centuries after their Savior was supposedly executed. They figure
that the deity of Christ and the reality of the Trinity were formulated by Jesus
himself. Feg, religions! Reminds me of the saying about laws and
sausages--it's best not to watch either made.
I believe in a Creator, but like the Jews, do not believe in the deification of
His messengers.
