entered by large holes at either pole. One of the early supporters of this
theory was Cyrus Teed, who started the Koreshan Unity movement in 1870 (he
changed his name). He started a community south of Fort Myers Florida and
was determined to prove his theory scientifically. Nazis entertained many
occult theories in their quest for world domination, and Teed's was one of
them. At one point a Nazi expedition went to the Isle of Man. Its mission:
to get secret photos of the U.S. by pointing its powerful telescopes *up*.
Current believers look to a woman named Ruth Leedy who publishes a news-
letter called The Abyss which explains the Hollow Earth theories.
