You should read Aristotle's essay on "democracy" (ha) as the Greeks
understood it, in which existence of a non-"citizen" slave class is
justified. Appalling and enlightening.
Next time we hear "experts" propound "Western Civilization's" official party
line --that our "democratic" tradition had its source in Greece and Rome--
let's not forget that the norm among those "founding fathers" of "democracy"
and, a bit more accurately, the institution of the so-called "republic," were
in fact aristocratic elitists, class oligarchs.
Our tradition DID originate in Greece and Rome -- in their de facto FEUDAL
system.
The sooner we all realize that the same old ancient CON-GAME
--institutionalizing the economic/political class-dichotomy bertween
"fortunate" masters (effortlessly "born to rule" simply by birth and marriage
-- a fact completely unjustifiable except by invoking pre-and after-life
"karma" or equivalent deterministic myths ) and their "unlucky," by
"necessity" hard-working, slaves (serfs)-- continues to this very day, the
better we can all deal with REALITY, "free at last" from an archetypally,
culturally, and ideologically conditioned state of hypnosis, designed to
reinforce our "slave morality" and mentality.
