And ever since 1945, we have been told that it was the result of anti-Semitism, economic conditions, psychological reasons, sociological reasons, anything which touched upon the causes, but nothing which could really satisfy us that the explanations were complete because after more than half a century, we continue to ask the same question. I suggest that Hitler's theft of the Spear of Longinus affords us a glimpse of what was REALLY behind his attempt to eradicate the Jewish people from the face of the earth. For despite the known connections between certain occult organizations in Austria and Germany with certain key members of the early Nazi Party, the prosecutors at Nuremberg never pursued this thread to its logical conclusion, or we might have been able to finally put the question to rest. But the fact is that Hitler DID take possession of the spear of St. Maurice, reputed to have been the spear which pierced the side of Christ referred to in the Gospel of St. John. And the FACT is that Hitler was so enamoured with Wagner's libretto "Lohengrin" that he memorized the entire libretto, which is significant because in both Wagnerian works, "Lohengrin" and "Parcival", the spear is key. And the FACT is that the ground plan for the layout of the streets of the city at Wewelsburg called for the streets to be laid out in such a way that from the air, they would form the head of the Spear. And it is ALSO a fact that Hitler's role in the ceremony of the "Blood Flag" was designed to convey a religious message, as was Leni Riefenstahl's famous propaganda film "Triumph of the Will" which opened with Hitler LITERALLY "coming in the clouds" as the New Testament predicted of Christ at his Second Coming. Trevor Ravenscroft, the author of "The Spear of Destiny", believed that the REAL reason that the occult roots of National Socialism were never followed up upon at Nuremberg was that Churchill believed that exposing the true roots of the Nazis had potential to do more harm than good. And that because of that potential, the allies agreed that it would be better to try to explain the most outrageous crimes in history as being the result of dementia rather than to admit that they had been the result of a religious commitment to evil itself. And certainly when one considers Hitler's theft of the Spear of Destiny due to his belief in its ancient legend which said that whoever possessed the spear and understood its powers for serving good and evil could conquer the world, one is hard pressed to find a better explanation for Hitler's actions, or even for the individual Germans who followed Him, because in addition to his strange actions and occult connections, Hitler's oratory ability has been rated by some to have been second only to Jesus Christ himself. And the spellbinding effect that his eyes had upon people is legendary. Is it any wonder, therefore, that Hitler has often been described as being representative of the antichrist, who is predicted by the New Testament to arrive on the world scene and will seemingly, miraculously, save the world from war and annihilation? With the proliferation of atomic weapons now extending to India and Packistan, the advent a "man of peace" who can save the world from self destruction will soon be seen as being more urgent than at any other time in history. And just as Hitler appeared to be a God send to the German people during the Great Depression which came in the wake of the average German's loss of (their) life savings which resulted from the Great Inflation of 1923, so the future antichrist will be seen as the Savior of the World once he produces the peace which seemingly saves the world from annihilation. As numerous writers are now attempting to pave the way for a supposed lineal descendant from the bloodline of King David and Jesus of Nazareth through Mary Magdalen to take up the reigns of authority as the new priest-king of Europe (which could also arguably help to blur the divisions between Judaism and Christianity), the advent of the antichrist approaches. And just as one of the titles of Jesus was The Prince of Peace", so the Revelation depicts this FALSE Christ, the antichrist, as being a great "Peace Maker", as well. It is reasonable, therefore, to expect that just as in "The Godfather" trilogy in which certain people were given offers which they "couldn't refuse" that when nuclear war threatens to bring the world to the brink of annihilation that the world will find itself in the same situation; It will be given an offer it can't refuse, too--either to accept the peace which the antichrist will offer, or to accept total destruction. There will be no other alternatives. The antichrist or annihilation; Take it or leave it. Obviously under those conditions, the world will have no choice but to accept the peace of the antichrist. And how much more likely would the world be to accept that peace if the man who offered it could also just happen to "prove" that he was the direct lineal descendant of Jesus Christ himself? In such a situation, would he not truly appear to be the Messiah? And interestingly enough, the authors of The Hiram Key, Christopher Knight and Robert Lomas, in their latest book, The Second Messiah, maintain that such proof actually does exist. It is no longer the case, as it was with Baigent and Co., that these writers are surmising that such proof might exist. Now we are being told that it DOES exist! They said on page 79 of The Second Messiah that what their research was showing them was that, "The picture that was emerging was of a group of European noble families, descended from the Jewish lines of David and Aaron, who had escaped from Jerusalem shortly before, or possibly even just after, the fall of the Temple. They had passed down the knowledge of the artifacts concealed beneath the Temple to a chosen son (not necessarily the eldest) of each family. Some of the families involved were the Counts of Champagne, Lords of Giros, Lords of Payen, Counts of Fontaine, Counts of Anjou, de Bouillon, St Clairs of Roslin, Brienne,Joinville, Chaumont, St Clair de Gisor, St Clair de Neg and the Hapsburgs." They continued saying on page 84 that the Knights Templar continued to excavate under ground on the Temple Mount in Jerusalem "...until Christmas 1127 when they were sure that they had located every scrap of treasure and every scroll. A week later Payen left to travel to the city of Troyes where he received the draft Rule, written by Bernard but presented to them by the Cardinal of Albano. He then set off on a recruiting tour of Europe, fitting in trips to brief the members of Rex Deus (that is the "Kings of God" as Knight and Lomas referred to the members of the supposed "sacred bloodline") en route. This is when he called at the home of his wife's family in Scotland, most likely to deposit the precious scrolls for safekeeping. This was the furthest point from Rome to which they had access and, as such, the most secure place fore these heretical documents, for in these scrolls they had found accounts of the life of Jesus and James that told the story of Jewish freedom fighters rather than the arrival on earth of the son of God. "They had found the accounts of the New Jerusalem that would arrive to herald the rule of God and were amazed at descriptions of initiation ceremonies for important recruits that involved a living resurrection. The evidence suggests that knowledge of the existence of these documents was restricted to the senior members of the new Templar Order and the St Clair family who were now acting as guardians of this ancient knowledge." They then went on to say the following on page 87: "The Templar Order took on a life of its own, after completing its original purpose, almost certainly as a result of the documentation that it found under the Temple. Within a very few years the rumors of strange rituals were circulating about the Order and fabulous stories were told of the Templars' exploits. The scrolls of the Nasoreans, which they had translated for them, told a greatly different story of Jesus and the Jerusalem Church from the one they had been brought up to believe. They read that Jesus was a kingly leader and not a god, and the resurrection had been a misunderstanding by Paul." In light of the above, it is only reasonable to ask in what capacity the Holy Lance might be seen by the world if a member of the Sinclair family was to suddenly appear on the world scene and save humanity from self-annihilation at that most critical moment in history--especially if Mr. Sinclair was to claim the spear as did so many other emperors. Better yet, what if he was to be PRESENTED with the spear by its current owners, the Hapsburgs? Then even his legitimacy of ownership of the lance could not be questioned. It is a lot to think about. But is it not also probable that in such a case that such a man would most likely be accepted by most people--perhaps even by most Jews--as being their long awaited Messiah? Such a scenario would fit the Biblical framework to a T.
