Pye's response strikes me rather pathetic in its resort to cheap character
assassination. The criticism of Sitchin's qualifications is valid. Pye
suggests that DasGOAT must be some sort of failed scholar? Well where's
Sitchin's Professorship? Has ever held an academic position in the areas of
archaeology, ancient history or related subject areas? No? Where's his
accreditation? Were any of his books peer reviewed?
Pye's meanspirited defence of Sitchin proves nothing but Pye's own habit of
"shooting from the lip".
