AA says that something causes people to drink excessively, in this case it
does seem that her having an abortion was the cause. I didn't mean to say
that all women that have abortions become alcoholics. You have proved they
don't all have problems with their decisions.

Well, I can recount my own experience with women who have had abortions, who
did not make the decision to have an abortion easily
but nonetheless do not regret making the decision to abort the fetus. They
have gone on to have full and fulfilling lives; some
have gone on to have families, some have remained childless by choice (none
have experienced fertility problems due to the
abortion). None are alcoholics, neither do they use drugs. Those who work
outside the home have no trouble holding on to their
jobs. Those who are married or are in a committed relationship are happy in
those relationships, with no greater (or less) problems
than women who have not had abortions.

Perhaps the fact of the matter is, Bob, is that you personally attract weak
women to you...but that doesn't mean that all women who
have abortions are weak, or are 'made weak' by having an abortion.>>

Actually, I don't attract any woman at all. If you took one look at me you
would know why. I am a good listener which may be why I have many woman
friends rather than male friends. I don't like hanging around with the guys.
Thank you for your insights, I like to hear both sides of an issue.

Bob Stokes
