Go ahead and laugh, your logic may be sound as a pound, which isn't worth much, nevertheless your logic is lunacy. Nobody here is emoting, you can wallow in your smug disarmanent attitude, and get round-shouldered from patting yourself on the back because you have no protection from some moron who wants to stick a knife in you or beat you to death, but you seem to be a perfect citizen of a government which has convinced you that socialism is great, and to be defenseless is desirable. You seem delighted that "the cost and availablity of guns in the UK is prohibitive." That is your problem which your citizens have allowed to befall yourselves. It seems that the idea of being free and armed is hateful to you, so I can conclude that the next time some moronic madman starts raining bombs on your cities, you will not be calling upon us for assistance.
