-Caveat Lector- Whoever wrote this review is an idiot. For starters Lecter didn't debut in SIlence of the Lambs, he was in the movie and novel of Red Dragon some years previously. It is a fantastic film though and I highly recommend it. What I couldn't figure out though, is whether Lecter is meant to be gay? He kills more men than women (seemingly) but by killing both it would suggest he is bisexual. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't tone down or ignore his orientation to avoid getting on the wrong side of the Hollywood pinko brigade? Anyway, run out and see it if you haven't already.
