You are making my point: Hemp is a variety of cannabis sativa grown for fiber.
Marijuana is a variety grown for THC content. They are *different varieties* as you
have
admitted. Do you know the meaning of different? It does not mean 'the same'. A great
dane is not the same dog as a chiuaua, even though they are the same species.
Confusing hemp with the drug marijuana is exactly one of the methods the US
government uses to make people believe that legalizing hemp production will lead to
more marijuana use.
Regarding whether I am acquainted with the effects of marijuana: I am quite familiar
with marijuana; I live in N. California where some of the finest marijuana in the
world is
grown. (Another reason conservatives like Bill Howard just hate California.) And yes I
do know what happens when you smoke too much. :~|
