IS it actually 'unusual'?

Note the following paragraph, buried deep down in the article:

>``IT'S A HEADLINE...''
>
>Although the number of shark attacks and fatalities has been down this year
>compared to past years, the attacks have drawn widespread media
>coverage this summer following the dramatic rescue of an 8-year-old boy in

So it would seem that if anything is 'unusual', it is the fact that the
amount of shark attacks this year is LESS than normal, but for some
reason are being REPORTED about more than normally is done...

So one has to wonder if there is an agenda here -- why the media feeding
frenzy far more than seems to be warranted, if shark attacks and
fatalities are actually LESS this year than in past years? Why didn't
the media tell us about all these attacks and fatalaties in prior years?
Why is it that this year is 'the summer of the shark attacks', when the
REALITY is that the number of attacks and fatalities is less than in
other years and hence would seem to be something that is deliberately
being blown out of proportion this year....

Why? Is there some reason someone would like to keep the number of
people frequenting the beaches on the eastern seaboard down?

So here we have the actual numbers, clearly demonstrating that if there
is anything unusual going on with the sharks themselves, it is the FACT
that attacks and fatalities are actually far LESS this year than in past
years....but you would never know that from the majority of the
mainstream media coverage, which has been hysterically trumpeting each
shark attack as if its a sign of impending Armegeddon...

The media is the REAL shark pack on a feeding frenzy...
