Yes, you are correct, Monicagate was stupidity on his part. But not minor
stupidty. Lets not rehash the past Presidents who have had affairs while in
office, we know it happened. Its just that they were discreet about it.
People don't complain very often about things they don't know about.
Bubba wasn't discreet, Bubba tried to trash Monica's reputation, and at the
end, she was afraid he was going to have her killed. And if that wasn't
enough, he lied to the American people about his affair, and then lied to his
lawyer, and lied under oath about it. Yes, this is stupid, but not a minor
stupid.
Lets compare a blowjob with another consenting adult to say - firing ones AG
to avoid prosecution, or circumventing congressional orders by trading in
guns and drugs to illegal supply arms to central American rebels, or making
deals with extremist Islamic terrorists to keep Americans hostage, just to
win an election. >>
I'll take a blowjob anyday to firing an AG. No comparison. And we know drugs
for guns thing happened, and that now is a dead issue, unlike Monicagate
which just won't go away. I think its just something that is used to keep our
attention from more important things.
Klinton did a wonderful job with the islamic terrorists. He allowed Bin Laden
to move into Bosina and Albania and set up his terrorist/drug headquarters
there. It will be years before that mess is cleaned up.
