Mislabeling themselves as leaders in > "non-violence" and "civil disobedience," these > "non-violent" activists were at the center of smashed > windows, arson, and the ransacking of a Starbucks and > a McDonalds during the Seattle protests. precisely. the ruckus society is one of a handful of organizations set up by the corporate elite to discredit the "anti-globalization" movement; it's sole purpose is to protray activists as window-breaking thugs and thus discredit them in the eyes of the masses. ted turner, as you know, is also still heavily involved with cnn [which he founded but has since sold]. the idea is to create organizations, such as the ruckus society, to infiltrate "the movement".....then broadcast their criminal actions on cnn and use it to discredit the entire movement.
