Here in Minnesota the question for some of us will be whether the plane
crash killing Senator Paul Wellstone was a random accident or one which had
a little help, considering the closeness of the race and its importance to
the Bush White House. He wasn't getting my vote anyway but neither was the
Republican candidate. Now a replacement must be found and no speculation has
started, at least publicly.
Seems most of us are becoming suspicious that every time there's a close race in which the Republicans have a marked interest, the Democrats seems to be at risk of dying in an aircraft accident. I think that Democrats must learn not to go anywhere by airplane. This time was better than usual. They don't even have to worry about the possible appointment of the wife. Republicans hate that.
