Turns out not to be the case. This is apparently a GTK bug that FF recently started tripping over. See https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1958174 which eventually leads to some sorta workaround being written into FF. But that workaround doesn't seem to actually work; it's in the current version, but I still see the glitch. Patching my local gtk with the gtk patch (not yet in a release; presumably will be in 3.24.50) from https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/merge_requests/8423 seems to fix it up for me. -- Matthew Fuller (MF4839) | [email protected] Systems/Network Administrator | http://www.over-yonder.net/~fullermd/ On the Internet, nobody can hear you scream.
