If there's one thing I really HATE about those modern desktop applications, it's the lack of support for the good old -geometry command line option.
So instead of fighting the desktop people with bugzilla's (which they confirm, but seem not to do anytning about), I was wondering: is there anything else that can be done? Can ctwm play a role in this -- maybe ctwm can handle a geometry request? Or a wrapper program that waits until the window is mapped, and then places/resizes it. Just some thoughts. But I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem. Maybe you know a way to overcome, solve or work around this? -- Johan
