How confusing is that 'trash' symbol then!
I don't want it running in any case. I don't wipe out extra properities I just add my own. It is gnome that likes to wipe them out! | > Is there some type of command line control to list and adjust the | > session? If so I can add it to my 'gnome launcher' script. | | You answer this one yourself: | Gconf got it. The system and app data is so enormously scattered around that it | is very hard to maintain consistency, especially when using the same | data on different machines. | | You can use gconftool-2 to change the settings, but it is far from | trivial to find out what settings are used where. | That is what I mean. | gconf-editor is interactive and can be used to browse through the | settings database. It helps to find the desired settings. Sometimes | :(. | I'll try that. Making notes. Though it isn't installed, but I see it on the available packages list. Hmmm very interesting, except for an editor, it can't delete old usless entries of things I never run (except as a once only test long ago).
