 If you want to have X and a GUI (Kde or Gnome), I suggest you get the
two Libranet CD's here:

http://libranet.com/trial_download.html
they are a free download. Libranet is one of the easiest installs to
do. Once you have it installed you can learn the Debian system. Scott
Grannemann is very knoweldgable about Libranet. Besides Libranet is of
very high quality.
