I wouldn't use editor mode - you lose one of the great features of CB,
which is the ability to replay previous moves. I've played games solo
with CB (specifically Master of the Amulets, an old Metagaming MicroQuest)
and it worked out really well.

My website has a link to a .gam file (here: http://tft.brainiac.com/pbem.html )
that will let you walk through my game step-by-step. If you're interested in
seeing how that went, email me off-list and I'll send you the gamebox that
you'll
need to run it.

In short, you make your moves, making comments along the way if you'd like,
ending the turn at the appropriate time, and just save the moves to the same
.gam file. No need to save to different files and keep reloading.
