Hi all,

I tried a search of prior topics, and did not see my main question
addressed. Since I'm typing, I'll also ask a few others. ;<)

I've been learning my way around CB for a few days now, and have two
questions:

1 - what is the best way to save a turn in progress? For example, I
make all my moves, but have to save it and return later to do all the
combats. How do I save/load to do this?

2 - Is there an easy way to examine a stack, other than moving each
counter out of the way with the mouse? (I'm just wondering because
moving each counter makes the replay look odd.)

3 - What is a compound move, and when would it be used? (I found
Chris's Manual, and that kind of explains compound move, I was just
looking for a concrete example.)

and I just want to confirm the following (abbreviated) sequence to
play a game:
1. send opponent the .GAM file after the scenario os chosen, but
before any moves are made.
2. Do turn one, save recording, and send opponent the .GMV file.
3. Opponent opens .GAM, the loads the .GMV file. Opponenent plays
replay.
4. Opponent plays his turn, saves the move recording and sends me
the .GMV file. (or does he send the GAM file????)

Repeat

Thanks in advance for the help.
