Bert: Yes! I think you can handle the first loop. Our route is actually going to be northeast of Red Oak where it's mostly flat and we'll also be conservative on speed the first loop to make sure we can go the distance. Just keep your time on the front very, very brief. Let KP do the work.

I have been trying to step up my rides since the thrashing Nick gave me on 5.14.09 ~16m ride that broke me in. Then one day Tim showed up w/ a fixed gear and I learned quickly I had a ways to go. I have ~600 miles since Nick, mostly flat land rides. Hills are a challenge. The last thing I want to do is slow yours/Tim's training down. Tim, I know the Red Oak area pretty well. The terrain is constantly rolling. Do you think I should/could try at least 1 loop of this ride? ...w/o hurting your planned pace. I can handle the truth. :) On Sep 1, 1:19 pm, Chris Hawley <[email protected]> wrote: > What time thursday.I might try to make it.It's been a while since I hooked up > with you guys > > Chris H. > > ________________________________ > From: Tim Lucas <[email protected]> > To: [email protected] > Sent: Tuesday, September 1, 2009 12:12:56 PM > Subject: [COWs] Re: daytime rides > > Due to the length of the ride and the very > windy conditions tomorrow we are moving the ride to Thursday morning.
