Sounds like everyone got good rides in this weekend...even the kids. 15
of them showed up for Tri practice and we had at least 6 parents join us
on the ride. Turbo Dan's son was on a new bike without training wheels
(just got this bike Friday and is only 5 years old) You should have
seen Logan go on the bike course....so cute. Then his dismount in
transition was right on the money. There was one happy daddy yesterday.

I got 23 miles in this morning solo. a little dark at 6am now so a light
is a must. I hope to have a few more weeks of early morning rides
before starting the lunch box rides again.

A group of 9 or so met Sat at 6:30 am OSB. Jeff, Jim, Doc, Ronnie,
Winslow, Tim
S, Turbo Dan, Dale...sorry if I missed anyone. We split into two groups
so
hammer-heads could pound for a while. Rode about 50 miles to Nashville
on Old
Bailey, over to Sharpsburg and back through Elm City. Great ride.
Notes of
interest: Turbo Dan popped a rear spoke and kept going. Tim S smoked
the final
sprint to OSB for the Green Jersey

I rode Sunday for about 40 miles solo. Wilson > Elm City > Bailey >
Wilson.
Passed Ronnie and Nick on my way out. Sorry I missed you all at OSB at
2:00.
Had to help get wife and kids packed and departed for a trip before spin
time
for me. Saw David C and kids tri training as I pulled into my
hood...great
sight seeing all those young kids on bikes!

I rode with Kinnie and Amy Thursday-we had very strong winds, which made
the
turnaround fun. Kinnie is still wishing for her Cervelo, and Amy is
strong
and steady. She has Exterra on her mind-oh and a brand new Fisher MTB
that
is on the way!!! I also rode Friday, Saturday and Sunday-all about 30/35
miles and less wind. Saturday I rode with Bobby and Elise-all of this
down
at the beach. It was a beautiful beach weekend!
