WithDC and I riding tandem, the smaller of the twolabsgets turned around directly in from of me, I T-bone the dogand down I go. The dog took off, musthave beenno worse for the collision. I am blessed beyond compare, short of a very minor scrape on the saddle there was no damage to the bike. Had it checked out at Don’s to be sure and all is well.The poor dog must have taken the force out of the crash as Idid not evenrip my shorts or jersey. After gettinghome,closer inspection revealed my helmettook a shot and was broken in two spots. I’ll be wearing my back up Saturday.
