The Day Break pulled out of OSBs at 6:00. No doubt this is the last week of the season for this ride. DC and Jeff did 22 miles at 19-20 pace. We took the Elm City route, 58, Pridgen Rd, London Church Rd, Stagecoach Rd, Elm City Rd, Four Tenths Rd. Took a detour on Upchurch back to Van Slkye Rd hoping to avoid the sand and grit but no good, London Church is now covered in grit from Pridgen Rd all the way to Ward Blvd. The stuff is fairly caked on as you approach Ward. You really need to avoid this area. We shook off the dust as we finished back on Ward.
No dogs this time but we did have red fox cross the road on Van Slkye.
