Likely not at all, i.e. you'd get an error either at runtime or at compile time (if doable). It would also be possible to consider a multi-dimensional view a view on a recursive sequence instead (like tuples of tuples), so that it would concatenate the first dimension. I'm open to both, depending on what use cases we come up with (meaning: if we don't currently care, this would be an error until further consideration).
