It's not the closures code that's holding anything up, as far as I  
know it's ready to go (with a small type inferencing issue, which  
could be easily resolved at first by disabling type inference for  
closures). It's the fact that Sage doesn't (didn't?) compile with the  
latest cython-devel tip.
