It seems that the clear consensus, or at least the one thing that we
can all be happy about, is moving to GitHub (crossing our fingers that
the issue tracker improves quickly). I've created
https://github.com/cython , but haven't started to migrate the rest of
the stuff over. I'm thinking we can still stick with the push-to-main
option for the core developers (which seems to still be appropriate
for our project right now, and also works well with stuff like the
build-bot), but can easily fork for experimental work, reviews, and
anyone else who wants to contribute.

Fortunately, with a DVCS, we don't have to "flip the switch" all at
once. I'll be migrating the site off of the VM and the trac/wiki out
to GitHub soonish (and this will probably be a flip-the-switch kind of
thing), but would welcome any help. For those who need admin access,
let me know what your usernames are.
