In the past you said we should only edit translations via launchpad.
As i don't know how to find a particular string on launchpad, i think
it's easier to edit these via svn.
Is editing translations via svn Ok for you?

When i use "LANG=de_DE.UTF-8 python myapp.py" i don't get the german
translations, so i used app.setLanguage("de_DE", "UTF-8") which works
for me.
