When I add virtual fields (several virtual fields do conversions of the data) the flashing returns and is very obvious. But I would not say 'properties' as in MyProperty = property(_setValue, _getValue) because I'm not aware I'm setting any. The flashing on windows maybe related to the speed of the computer.
