So are you willing to help with the coding.  The help is needed.
It doesn't have to be coding to help.

All the work I have done on the Dabo Phoenix branch is only tested on Windows, it would be already a tremendous help to just test on Mac and report issues.

wxPython Phoenix (https://github.com/RobinD42/Phoenix) could also do with help, especially the wx.lib.* is not completely ported and Dabo depends on some of the stuff in there.
