I asked ladyR what the poop is....after i read her your post.
She said that Zeus is the re-incarnated dawg of the 2nd to last
person who lived there.
They were visiting with eachother that night....you interrupted
their final discussion....which was whether or not Zeus was going
to stay with his old master or go back to you.....you just showed up
a tad early. Zeus told him that he really liked visiting him but that
he loves you to pieces (figuratively), so Zeus was saying good-bye
because his job with the ''dawg'' owner was long since finished but
that his work with you has only begun. The dawg owners parting words
were.....be careful Girlie! (guess Zeus was a girl previously)
ladyR says that Zeus was a big, hairy mixed breed that time, that
did such a good job that she got to be a boy Dane this time.
When i asked ladyR what all the flying debris is about ....she said
you need to have that house and land blessed, a cleansing ritual
and an exorcism !
When i asked her about the last owner...all i got was dead silence.
I am assuming the emphasis is on dead.
She advises that you go to the county seat - Property records divison
and look up the NAME of the 3 previous owners (huh?) then try to track
down those names in the library newspaper micro-fiche or computers
if they have them - check obituaries also.
Then she left the room.
Ruby suggests: Do NOT say a peep about this to the locals !
Try not to let anyone know you are investigating. Get the names,
and i will help you look up their dates of death to see if they
co-incide with dates of sale of property.
While you are searching....make sure to write down ANY names
connected with previous owners.
BTW.....everything up to the last 2 paragraphs was funnin !
