As for my usage, I'd agree with the second suggestion but not with the first. Not too bad, as I can set 'changes no-interactive' in my prefs/defaults, but I've just discovered there's no 'no-interactive' flag (am I missing the right name?).
Oops, just noticed the patch has been pushed and the changes in tests make clear the opposite of --interactive is (obviously) --all.
