That's a nice proposal. But it really means changing the casing of every single translatable strings in darktable code base. And to not break all translations we also want to update the English strings in all po files accordingly. >From there we could require the translator to keep current casing or update the mixed-case. I suppose all this will need a nice script to be written to help doing the change of the English part and propose to translators to go mixed- casing for their translation. Also, as this will require to review all strings (I don't expect the script to be 100% correct) we need a good coordination. As I said, probably a huge amount of work ahead :) If you are willing to work on this, please open an issue in GitHub to start a discussion of the proper way to go.
