Hi Roumano, I have the exact same problem. I have had a brief discussion with some of the developers, and the consensus appears to be that they do not like this idea (it creates clutter) Nevertheless, I am currently working on my own implementation of this feature. I already have it working, but in order to be able to convince the other darktable developers that it may be useful, I want to make the implementation perfect before I show it to them. First impressions and all that. I hope to be able to show off my work sometime next weekend. If this feature does not get included in darktable, I will keep using my own build of darktable. Since the code is freely available on github, you could create a build for your own distribution.
