In my book it says it uses Melissa RGB internally too. But who knows :)

Again, if my book is correct (and this book seems quite good and the
writer quite knowledgeable) it is still the case. So Lr seems to be
still using 16 bits integer in the 4.x version. Don't know for 5.x, but
I doubt it has changed since this version has very little change in the
processing and image quality.
