cheers. thanks so much for darktable! re undo: i wonder -- this is geeky -- but still, i wonder (*) if "we" could add a hook there (**) that could allow one to, e.g., do a "git commit <filename>" just after the file is written. while this wouldn't allow for the greatest user interface, at least one could recover (***).
