I will buy a Linux Laptop (system76) and I've got three different options
for the processor. Speeding up Darktable exporting process is my main
reason to change my laptop :-)
These are the options:
Core i7-3630QM Processor ( 2.40GHz 6MB L3 Cache - 4 Cores plus
Hyperthreading )
Core i7-3740QM Processor ( 2.70GHz 6MB L3 Cache - 4 Cores plus
Hyperthreading ) ( + $175.00 )
Core i7-3840QM Processor ( 2.80GHz 8MB L3 Cache - 4 Cores plus
Hyperthreading ) ( + $369.00 )
I've used comparisons like these ones:

to try to figure out the real performance difference between them and if it
is worth to pay the difference.
I'd like to hear the opinion of those that know how Darktable works, and if
it can take advantage of the features of the 3740QM or the 3840QM.
